With warm, fragrant spices and just the right level of sweetness, these vegan, gluten-free treats deliver all the comfort from a cozy cup of chai in cookie form! You only need a handful of wholesome ingredients for these easy, one-bowl chai spice cookies. No chill time, no fuss. Better yet, the scrumptious results come with true wellness benefits.

Using a base of finely ground oats and rich, nutty tahini, these simple – and simply delightful – chai spice cookies draw their authentic chai spiciness directly from our ORGANIC INDIA Tulsi Masala Chai tea bags. Just snip two bags open and pour the contents directly into the oat flour, delivering a blissful blend of Cinnamon, Ginger, Cardamom, Pepper, Nutmeg, Clove, and energizing black tea. Enhancing all of these is potent adaptogen Tulsi (Holy Basil), lending extra stress support to the aromatic invitation to pause and enjoy. Sweetened with low-glycemic coconut sugar, these morsels are similar to classic molasses cookies, but made healthier.

Why Psyllium?

Our ORGANIC INDIA Psyllium Pre & Probiotic Fiber aids in binding, lending a little bit of chewiness to the texture. Beyond its role as a binder, Psyllium powder offers notable health benefits, helping to promote digestion and aid in maintaining a healthy gut microbiome.

Any of our ORGANIC INDIA Psyllium Pre & Probiotic Fiber powders work beautifully in this recipe. Go with Original and let the Tulsi Masala Chai tea blend shine; choose our Cinnamon Spice flavor for an extra punch of cinnamon flavor in addition to or in place of the Ceylon Cinnamon in the recipe; or, add subtle citrus notes with our Orange flavor

All around us, autumn regales with splendor while also signaling the value of slowing down here and there with reflection. May these chai-spiced bites offer you moments to soak in and share in signature autumn coziness. Try dipping in a warm mug of our Tulsi Masala Chai—when it comes to these warming spices, there isn’t too much of a good thing!
