With Midsummer behind us, hints of the coming autumn begin to slip gently into view while temperatures continue to soar. That sense of seasonal limbo can have the effect of offsetting natural rhythms. Similarly to the way the turning seasons play a role in our emotions and overall sense of wellbeing, so too do internal fluctuations often lead to symptoms that can set things off kilter, even sending us reeling. Good news, nutrient-dense whole foods and herbs can offer delicious support for promoting hormonal health throughout all cycles and stages. Who knew finding balance could be so delicious?

The Secret Ingredient: Essential Female for Hormonal Balance

Our ORGANIC INDIA Essential Female features 4 time-tested, traditional herbs known for women’s wellness support: Shatavari, Lodhra, Guduchi, and the Queen of Herbs, Tulsi (Holy Basil). Harmoniously harnessing the power of these revered plants, Essential Female aids in promoting hormonal balance, vitality, healthy aging, and natural beauty from the inside-out.

More Potent Goodness

Hormonal changes–particularly pronounced during perimenopause– affect everyone individually. As with any stressors, however, how we eat and live can offer significant support.

Cherries and berries are bursting with antioxidants and antioxidant compounds, helping to protect the body against damage from free radicals.

Crucifers like cauliflower are high in fiber, supporting regularity and slowing cravings. Further, cruciferous vegetables are brimming with powerful antioxidants–essential vitamins including C, E, and K, and valuable minerals such as calcium, magnesium, and potassium.

Chia Seeds are an excellent source of Omega-3 fatty acids, shown to support healthy inflammation levels, help promote satiety, and generally promote a healthy mindset. They are also a good source of plant-based protein, supporting muscle mass.

Plant-based yogurt, like its dairy counterpart, is rich in calcium, important for maintaining healthy bones. What’s more, creamy yogurt’s probiotics help bolster gut health, a central key to whole health. We love adding an unsweetened, coconut or nut-based option.
